Regulations, Restrictions and Rules

Welcome to the 2017 Global GT Championship, the 3rd season of GGTC.

The idea of the Global GT Championship was when we first had presented a PRT United GT Championship Series and that series promoter Alexander Heinen was planning to do a Multi-Class GT series with Balance of the Performance applied on the cars.

On January 30th, the 2015 Global GT Championship had made a partnership with GT6 Drivers, Drifters and Gifters after its partnership with GTORacing has failed. Fifteen days later, the GGTC is launched with a Pre-Season Race at Grand Valley Speedway.

However, after the GT3's exclusion, the GGTC became a single class championship. That way, we were very proud to announce that the GGTC will have one class in it’s 2nd season.

This one class championship tradition lives on from the 2nd season as we continue with the 3rd season of the Global GT Championship.

The GGTC season will start in January 21st, 2017, with the Pre-Season Race being held for the third time, at Grand Valley Speedway.

So, until then, we hope that you have a good time. The GRO Organizers wish you a Happy New Year, and a good luck for the season!

7.7.3- To be classified into the AFP, a driver must have completed a minimum of two rounds. This rule is in place to prevent a driver from winning the AFP just because he has won a race once and did not come back after all.
