Round 1: Twin Ring Motegi Report

It was a heck of an organisation problem due to the PSN and Gran Turismo Server problems, which forced poeple to disconnect from the lobbies every few minutes. This problem only occured on weekends.
The race was completeted at the actual third try to start the race and completing it.

CEO and hoster of the lobby Alexander Heinen decied last saturday to start the race, no matter how many get disconnected,. He said in an interview that he took this decision because he felt that this time the lobby connection seemed to be more stable. Eventhough 6 from 8 racers get disconnected, but the first disconnections happend 20 minutes into the race.

The main race was full of action. Big Battles everywhere, andIn the first half of the race, nobody stood a chance against the leading Starscrem Ent. AMR V12 Vantage.
He lead the race, scored a point for the fastest lap of the race, until the pit stops came into play. He suffered under the pit bug where a driver drives into the pits, into his pit stall but then nothing happens. Smit lost the lead to Pedro Harsk, then quitted the race.

Another driver who suffered the pit bug was Damian Kolkman in his 458 Ferrari. still not up to speed, he'll get a huge boost in performance for the next round.

He has started with the #63 PRT Competition 458 Ferrari last year and decided to change his car for this year's season.  For the Pre Season round he decided to race the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe, which had a good performance, but he didn't like the very heavy feeling of this car. He also complained about the brutal tire wear. Moe Raafal racedthis round with the same car, and in an interview he said that he didn't have any problems with the car so far and he liked the feeling of it.

For round 1, Heinen decided to drive the Jaguar XKR-S. Good performance, but he rather would takes the Camaro SS.

A driver is allowed to change the car only ONCE during the season, but the pre season doesn't count as a season roun, therefor it is legal to ace again a different car. But now Alexander Heinen has to stick with this car for the rest of the season.
