GGTC runs under new Cooperation.

The Global GT Championship was originally created by the Powerhouse Racing Team. Then being sponsored by GTOR, and DD&G. 

 

The Powerhouse Racing Team formed a cooperation with HRSC, to form the Global Racing Organisation (GRO).

The CEOs of PRT (Alexander Heinen) and HRSC (Pedro Harsk) to form CEO and Co-CEO. 

 

The G.R.O. helds 3 major championships, The Global GT Championship (GGTC), the Global Rally Championship (GRC) and the Global RBX Cup (GRBXC).

Beside these 3, there are several different smaller one make cups organised by the G.R.O.

We have for example the Global Suzuki Cup (GSC), featuring the GSX-R/4 in a tuned, high performance version. The Global Rocket Series (GRS), an smaller One make cups featuring the AC/Shelby Cobra, the R8 Gordini and the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo.

New 2016 Schedule is online!

 

 

This time, the GGTC promotes 22 racetracks, and as always, a pre-round at Grandvalley Speedway which starts the 23rd January. 

The races will be held every second Saturday, at 8pm UTC.

New Balance of Performance for ALL GTM cars online

 

 

A new BoP is fitted for all GTM cars, but it is currently still under developpement. 

The final BoP version will be published the 10th January.

Interview with Pedro Apas Harsk, Co-CEO of GRO & GGTC

 

GRO: Mr. Harsk, You are now the Co-CEO of the G.R.O. and therefor the GGTC. What was the actual reason to form an organisation together with the CEO of the Powerhouse Racing Team?

 

Harsk: "Well, the reason why was because I needed help for my rally championship and that I couldn't do that all myself alone. You know that a organizer needs a help for organizing the things such as events. Besides, this is not everyday that we find a person who is willing to organize a championship series as I do."

 

GRO: That's correct. And as PRT organised the GGTC, he searched for help. That's why the cooperation started. But there's much more than only one helping another out right?

 

Harsk: "Yes, there is. There is also some help from IfAndOr, GremlinWon, Michael Lam (lxmmy) and Todor Stoikov. I'm also looking for some more people to help us to the championship being successfull."

 

GRO: "And for being a successful organisation, you also created more than only the GRC and GGTC."

 

Harsk: "Yup. I have come with more ideas and I finally broke the "posting-standings after each round hiatus". The things which took me to help with the points are because that Toby took 1 or 2 weeks long to post the standings after each Round. And as everybody was waiting for the standings, then, right after Round 11 Downtown, I have put the standings.

I'm also looking forward to organize more series, because I'm sure that we'll be successfull with the cooperation."
